Hubby and I went fishing on the Fox River Wednesday. It was a nice day out. Around 50 degrees or so. Not bad for us here in Wisconsin during November.



The river has been pretty active for us. Pat caught 4 fish in a two hour time period. I wasn't able to catch a thing! Usually I can keep up but not that day. Went fishing last night. Went to Berry Lake in Oconto County. The water was so low from shore we couldn't launch the boat. We tried several times with no luck. Thought we were gonna get the truck stuck. It was like quick sand. My shoes ended up covered in the crap. Couldn't get the trailer in the water far enough to get the boat far enough into the water to push off. Truck was darn near water up to the bumper so I was kind of ticked we couldn't launch. Hey! I'm back from my trip! Had a great time. Of course it's never long enough that you can be gone fishing.



The first half of the week was warm and beautiful. The second half of the week was cold and rainy.

We did catch fish every time we went out. But they were on the small side. Caught mostly bass. I think we got one or two snakes.

Only two days left and we hit the road to Conover Wisconsin- (4hrs NORTH!). Every year we take a week and rent a cottage with my parents and split expenses and fish until our arms fall off.
